Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee
Father Edmund
29 Apr 2022
This Sunday the nation records, with gratitude, the historic milestone of Her Majesty the Queen’s seventieth anniversary of her Accession in 1952.
At the Masses this Sunday, you are invited to say a prayer for The Queen and to ask God to bless our country and its people.
Our Parish Garden Party to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee will be held this Sunday 5 June between 2pm – 5pm on the field at St Mary of the Angels. Please do come along to celebrate! There will be stalls, games, refreshments, sideshows, face-painting, and music. Children are encouraged to come in royal fancy dress – as a queen, king, princess, or prince – but please bring a change of clothes or wear something suitable underneath so that you can take part in the games and races.
Cars can be parked on the field as well as in the car park – the entrance is through the gate by the bus lay-by on the A41; please follow the instructions of the car park attendants.
Please note that there will be no tea and coffee after 9am Mass at St Mary’s this weekend.
