I am grateful to Lt Cdr Toni Cioma MBE for assisting me in adapting the former baptistery at Our Lady Star of the Sea into a new War Memorial Chapel to remember those killed in war, and as a fitting space to display the Standard of our local Sea Cadet Corps (shown top right, flag on the left) as a support and sign of prayer for all of the young people who serve our Country and do through the youth section associated with the Naval Services. I

have reutilised the former Ambo from the Sanctuary to be the main focus of the Chapel, and have placed a wreath of poppies there ahead of Remembrance Sunday. The flags displayed are those of: The Royal Navy, The Royal Marines, The Merchant Navy, and the Sea Cadets. A Memorial Book and Case are to be placed, also.
